QUEEN OF HEARTS- 50/50 RAFFLE 

RULES OF THE GAME 

HOW IT WORKS:

• This is a fundraising effort for the Eldorado-Brookview Volunteer Fire Department; thank you in advance for playing and supporting! 

• 54 Playing Cards, including two Jokers, are placed face down on a mounted board purchased from a certified gaming vendor; the cards are numbered one (1) through fifty-four (54), and are sealed to the board at random.

• Tickets are $10 each, and you can buy as many as you wish. Tickets can be purchased immediately after the drawing up to the time of the next drawing. Write your name, telephone number, and the number of the available card you're requesting (1-54, unless a card has been previously eliminated).

• The drawing will be held at Johnny’s Tavern each week at 8PM, and and results will be posted/updated. 

• One ticket will be pulled at each drawing and the card number on the drawn ticket will determine the card to be flipped over on the board.  

• Please see below for updated payout information.  If the 'Queen of Hearts' is not selected, the game will rollover to the next drawing. After the drawing, all tickets for that drawing will be destroyed.

• The '2 of Clubs' will be a rollover/reset card.  If that card hits before the 'Queen of Hearts', then the pot will remain the same, but a new board will replace the existing board.

• The total prize pool will continue to accumulate each drawing until the 'Queen of Hearts' is drawn. The jackpot amount, based on ticket sales, will be updated and displayed on our website www.ebvfd.org and/or our Facebook Page.

• EBVFD will begin each brand new (not from a rollover/reset) board with $5K. 

• All prizes are subjust to Maryland Tax Laws.

PAYOUTS:

• 'Queen of Hearts' Winner gets 50% of the Pot, regardless of being PRESENT or NOT PRESENT at Johnny's Tavern at time of drawing. 

  • EBVFD will receieve the other 50%. 

  • Please see below in 'Notes' for Payout Exception. 

• 'Any Card Other than QoHs' gets $100 for their ticket being selected, regardless of being PRESENT or NOT PRESENT. 

• Each week, for those PRESENT at Johnny's Tavern, we will draw 2 Additional Tickets for 2 x $50 Gift Card(s) to Johnny's Tavern. 

• Joker Cards - $500 (PRESENT or NOT PRESENT)

• Ace - $100 (PRESENT or NOT PRESENT)

NOTES:

**The Queen of Heart's Committee reserves the right to amend these rules as needed after any drawing.**

**Johnny’s Tavern does not profit from the game.**

**If the Pot doesn't reach $10K, then the 'Queen of Hearts' Winner will only receive 25% of the Pot.**
